Director Venkat Prabhu recently faced criticism on Twitter regarding his upcoming film, “The Greatest of All Time” (GOAT), starring Vijay. The criticism came in the form of a tweet from Sathyan Ramasamy, questioning Vijay’s career choices and hinting at the possibility of GOAT being a remake of Will Smith’s “Gemini Man.”
Sathyan Ramasamy directly addressed Venkat Prabhu in his tweet, expressing concern about Vijay’s recent string of flops in 2023 and suggesting that if remakes are in the pipeline, they should stick to successful Telugu films. The tweet also advised against including what he called “hopeless Thalapathy Vijay elements” in the film, referencing alleged exaggerated expressions, unnatural sentiments, and forced romances.
Venkat Prabhu, known for his composure, replied to the criticism with a touch of humour. He acknowledged the tweet, stating, “Sorry bro!! Innum unga kiterndhu edhirpaakuren (I am still expecting more from you) !! Happy new year!! Spread love.”
“The Greatest of All Time” boasts a star-studded cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, and Yogi Babu. The film has garnered much anticipation among fans.
