Rajinikanth has announced that his film Vettaiyan will be released around Dussehra on October 10. He has completed his film portions, with ongoing shoots for other cast members.
Produced by Lyca Productions and directed by T.J. Gnanavel, Vettaiyan stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, with cinematography by S.R. Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj.
Rajinikanth will begin filming Coolie on June 10. This project marks his first collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie was initially announced as Thalaivar 171. Sivakarthikeyan is rumoured to play a significant role, with other cast members yet to be announced. The film includes contributions from composer Anirudh Ravichander and stunt director Anbariv.
