Rajinikanth recently celebrated his grandson Ved Krishna’s ninth birthday with a cricket-themed party on May 6. The event was attended by his wife Latha and daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, a graphic designer and film producer. Ved, dressed in a team India jersey, was joined by his mother, Soundarya, in a Chennai Super Kings jersey.
Ved is the son of Soundarya and her ex-husband Ashwin Ramkumar, who divorced in 2017. Soundarya recently launched her show “GANGS – Kuruthi Punal” on Prime Video, featuring actors like Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh.
Rajinikanth’s upcoming films include “Vettaiyan” and “Coolie”. “Vettaiyan”, directed by TJ Gnanavel, features stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil. “Coolie”, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures, marks Rajinikanth’s first collaboration with Kanagaraj.
