Actor and comedian Premgi Amaren has married his longtime partner, Indu, in an intimate ceremony held in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The wedding occurred in the early hours of June 9, attended by close friends and family, with photos of the traditional event circulating online.
Premgi Amaren, born Prem Kumar Gangai Amaren on February 26, 1979, is renowned as a singer, composer, songwriter, actor, and comedian. He is the son of the respected composer and director Gangai Amaran and frequently appears in films directed by his elder brother, Venkat Prabhu.
Known for his humorous roles in Tamil cinema, Premgi is also famous for his catchy phrases such as “Enna Koduma Sir Idhu?” and “Evvalavo pannitom, itha panna mattoma?”. The former is a playful adaptation of a line from the 2005 film “Chandramukhi.”
The wedding signifies a happy milestone for Premgi, who continues to delight audiences with his comedy and music. Fans and well-wishers are celebrating the couple’s union, extending their heartfelt congratulations to the newlyweds.
