Social media goes crazy with news that Kannada star Nimma Upendra will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming film, Coolie. Upendra’s recent social media posts, which included a picture with Rajinikanth and a tweet expressing his excitement, were quickly deleted, leaving fans puzzled. However, trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed Upendra’s involvement.
Coolie, set for release in 2025, will see Rajinikanth in the lead role, with Upendra joining an impressive cast that includes Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, and Mahendran. Production began in July 2024, and the film’s music is composed by Kanagaraj himself.
Upendra, who was last seen in Kabzaa, is also working on other projects like UI, Buddhivantha 2, and Thrishulam. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has just finished shooting for Vettaiyan, which features a star-studded ensemble and is set to release on October 10, 2024.
