Karthik Subbaraj, the talented filmmaker known for his unique storytelling, has revealed his dream cast for his upcoming period action comedy, “Jigarthanda Double X.” In a bold move, he shared a morphed poster featuring legendary actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, expressing his desire to work with these icons of Tamil cinema.
Subbaraj, a fan of both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, took to social media to showcase his vision. The poster featured Rajinikanth’s face in place of Raghava Lawrence’s and Kamal Haasan’s face replacing SJ Suryah’s. In his caption, Subbaraj said, “I kept dreaming to my AD team that if I was born decades earlier, I would have made #JigarthandaDoubleX with Thalaivar & UlagaNayagan.”
This whimsical idea received enthusiastic responses from fans and cinephiles. Many expressed their excitement at the prospect of these two iconic actors coming together in a film.
