Director Venkat Prabhu recently addressed the future of actor Vijay, known for his role in the upcoming film The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT). During a press conference in Chennai, Venkat responded to questions about Vijay’s potential shift from cinema to politics.

When asked if Vijay would juggle acting with his political ambitions, Venkat shared, “Just like everyone here, and scores of Vijay fans, I too want to see him continue acting. I asked him if he would balance both. He just smiled and said, we’ll see.” This ambiguous reply has left fans speculating about Vijay’s future in film.

Regarding the film itself, Venkat clarified that The GOAT is purely a commercial venture with no political agenda. He noted, “Vijay sir didn’t want any line to be written that furthered his political agenda. GOAT is a film about entertainment, not politics.”

The film, set for release in September, features Vijay in dual roles and an ensemble cast including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, and Prabhu Deva. As fans eagerly await its release, they remain curious about how Vijay will navigate his dual ambitions.
