Valimai, the upcoming film starring actor Ajith Kumar and set to hit theatres on the occasion of Pongal on January 13, has been postponed, the film’s producers announced on Thursday.
No new release date has been announced, and producer Boney Kapoor stated that the film’s release has been postponed due to a rise in Covid infections worldwide.
Valimai is the actor’s most anticipated film, coming three years after Nerkonda Paarvai (2019). Valimai is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Kapoor. Huma S Qureshi and others appear as well.
