The highly anticipated Tamil film “Ayalaan,” starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh, has been postponed to Pongal 2024. The reason for the delay is the extensive visual effects (VFX) work required, with over 4500 VFX shots, making it a record-breaking effort in Indian cinema.
Initially slated for release earlier, the filmmakers decided to postpone the release to ensure that the VFX meets the highest standards. The VFX team needs more time to perfect the visual effects, as they have invested over ₹40 crores to make the film visually stunning.
Fans can now look forward to an exceptional blend of science fiction and comedy in “Ayalaan” when it finally hits theatres in Pongal in 2024. The film promises to be a groundbreaking addition to the Indian film industry.
