Ashok Selvan Denies Rumors of Starring in Dhanush’s Idli Kadai 

Ashok Selvan has cleared up rumors about his involvement in Dhanush’s upcoming film Idli Kadai, Dhanush’s fourth directorial project and 52nd film as an actor. A social media post claimed that Ashok would play Dhanush’s brother, alongside Arun Vijay as the antagonist and Nithya Menen as the female lead. However, Ashok retweeted the post, clarifying that he’s not part of the film. He expressed his admiration for Dhanush and said he hopes to work with him in the future, but confirmed that he’s not involved in Idli Kadai.

Fans responded with a mix of reactions, some thanking him for addressing the rumors, while others expressed disappointment. A few even hoped for Ashok’s reunion with Ajith Kumar.

Dhanush recently shared a concept poster for Idli Kadai, showing a small roadside shack at night. With music by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Kiran Koushik, the film is produced by Aakash Baskaran under Dawn Pictures and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced.
