Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the director behind the recent sports drama “Lal Salaam,” has opened up about a significant setback that plagued the production of her latest release. In an interview, she revealed the shocking loss of 21 days’ worth of footage during the filming, attributing it to an unfortunate instance of irresponsibility.
Despite the willingness of the actors, including Vishnu Vishal and veteran actor Rajinikanth himself, to redo the scenes, logistical challenges proved insurmountable. “The problem was everyone, including Vishnu, Senthil, and Appa, had changed their get-up,” Aishwarya explained, highlighting the complexity of recreating the lost sequences. Ultimately, the team had no choice but to forge ahead with the surviving footage and undertake the arduous task of re-editing the film.
