Actor Nikki Galrani on Monday filed a complaint to the Chennai city police. The police following the complaint nabbed Dhanush, a 19-year-old employed by Galrani to work at her residence in Royapettah, Chennai. Dhanush comes from a rural background. He had stolen petty objects like Christmas lights and a hair trimmer. After stealing some of her belongings, he ran away, and the actor reported him to the police. However, she asked us to only warn him, since he is very young. No FIR was filed against him. Galrani’s complaint was filed on January 11, after which the police traced and picked up Dhanush at his native village near Virudhachalam, Tamil Nadu. His parents were also informed about the situation and were given a warning as well. Later, he was brought back to Chennai for questioning. He apologized for his behavior and vowed never to do it again.
