Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan Conclude Mumbai Schedule for Thalaivar 170 

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, two iconic figures in Indian cinema, have come together for the much-anticipated film “Thalaivar 170” after 33 years. Recently, the duo wrapped up the Mumbai shooting schedule, generating tremendous excitement among fans and film enthusiasts.
Lyca Productions, the production company behind the movie, shared a captivating behind-the-scenes image on social media, capturing a candid moment between the two legends. In the snapshot, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan share a light-hearted moment during a break. Amitabh, dressed in a white shirt and a grey coat, is engrossed in his phone, while Rajinikanth, wearing a brown shirt, playfully looks over his shoulder.
The image was accompanied by a caption from Lyca Productions, expressing enthusiasm for this reunion, stating, “When Superstar and Shahenshah met on the sets of #Thalaivar170. Anticipation for “Thalaivar 170” has been steadily building, and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of these two iconic actors on the screen. Earlier this month, Rajinikanth shared a photo of himself with Amitabh Bachchan in his vanity van, expressing his joy at working with his mentor again. In his caption, he wrote, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 170,’ directed by T.J. Gnanavel. My heart is filled with joy!”
Lyca Productions announced the historic collaboration when they welcomed the “Shahenshah of Indian cinema” Mr. Amitabh Bachchan to the project. Directed by T.J. Gnanavel, known for “Jai Bhim,” the film has also attracted other prominent talents, including Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati, adding to the star-studded cast.
Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan had previously shared the screen in the 1991 film “Hum,” directed by Mukul Anand. Now, with the successful conclusion of the Mumbai schedule, “Thalaivar 170” promises to be a cinematic event that fans have eagerly awaited for more than three decades.
