According to the makers, Ranveer Singh’s 83 has collected over 100 crores at the domestic box office. It took Kabir Khan’s film 17 days to reach the milestone.
Compared to other films released around the same time, the film performed averagely.
Even on its fourth Monday, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, which turned out to be one of the biggest competitors at the box office with Spider-Man: No Way Home, has gained better word of mouth, and even though the Hindi version hasn’t reached 100 crores, it has still garnered more footfall. BoxOfficeIndia reported that the Arjun-starrer did more than double the business in its fourth weekend despite having fewer circuits and Covid-19 restrictions in several cities.
At the Indian box office, Spider-Man: No Way Home has already crossed Rs 200 crore, making it only the third Hollywood film to reach that milestone.
